Their work on Britain’s most popular craft channel, Create & Craft TV, has lead to
them being in demand for appearances the length and breadth of the UK. Their real-life
friendship has transferred to the screen making their shows not just innovative,
creative and skilled, but also warm, friendly and highly funny.
“We want to make our shows an open house for anyone to enjoy,” they say. “We’re like
best mates and genuinely enjoy what we do. Craft has been something that many people
have looked down on for years but finally all ages of people are realising just how
cool and economical it is to craft. It’s the fasted-growing hobby in the country
and craft is bigger and better than ever before. You only have to look at the amount
of it popping up in virtually every UK supermarket. And in the States it’s absolutely
huge.....we’re talking billions of dollars!”
The duo’s popularity lies in Steph’s crafting skill (she was recently named UK Crafting
Personality Of The Year) and Nigel’s quick-witted banter (he has written features
and interviewed countless celebs worldwide for many magazines and newspapers). They
are the perfect double-act. As well as their thousands of TV hours, they have entertained
crowds nationwide at craft fairs and also as the regular headline act at the Create
& Craft Experience which has become one of the UK’s biggest crafting events. They
write a monthly column for Quick Cards Made Easy magazine and also guest-edited the
Create & Craft Magazine, the first-time ever the usual editor had let go of the reins.
Steph is also the spearhead for a crafting mail order catalogue that goes to over
two million homes and has published five top-selling books. Nigel’s quick-wit and
on-screen skill has seen him appear on many different TV channels.
“The time’s right for crafting to be appreciated by all. It’s not just cards and
scrapbooking; you can craft your home decor too. Why move when you can just improve?
There’s a whole world just waiting to get creative and crafty and we’re the team
to do it.”
